For observing in low light, such as at dawn or dusk, you can use the NV-2's low illumination CCD while bypassing the IR beam.

For those who want to record their nighttime observations, the NV-2 features both still image and video recording capability. Save your photos and videos to the included 8 GB microSD memory card or swap the card out for a microSD card of your own.

You can play back images and videos in the field or take your scope home and transfer your recordings to your Mac or Windows PC via an included USB 2.0 cable. The computer will automatically recognize the content on the memory card. You’ll also receive an audio/video output cable to display your videos on the big screen—compatible with both PAL and NTSC monitors.

The NV-2 Night Vision Scope body consists of a durable polymer and a thick rubber armor coating for protecting the objective and eyepiece lenses. Water resistant IPX4, this scope can be used confidently in damp conditions as well as hold up to water splashes in the field.
